Morgan, Kayla, and Bekah. Not Kayla, Bekah, and Morgan, or Bekah, Morgan, and Kayla. They have always been Morgan, Kayla, and Bekah. The three best friends forever since preschool when they all met and decided that their lives would be infinitely better with each other in it, forever. They went through elementary school and middle school and high school attached at the hip, so when it came time to choose a college it was inevitable that they all three had the same choice in mind, Florida State University. Moving to Tallahassee and attending college together was a dream come true for the three of them. They couldn’t remember their lives without each other in them and they didn’t want to have to start now. Once they got to school, things were no different. They did everything together from walking to class to going out on weekends, and their favorite thing to do together was to eat or study at the Sweet Shop. This had been their go-to place, a home away from home that they could spend hours in laughing and talking. One day they decided that they needed to mark their booth. They each carved their name and beneath the three Bekah carved the word “FOREVER”. Cementing their friendship in the establishment that they spent countless hours at. During their freshman year, Kayla met a guy named Nate and they began dating. They had been going out for a couple of months when Kayla got some shocking and disheartening news. Bekah, her best friend since forever, had hooked up with Nate. Kayla and Morgan couldn’t believe that Bekah could betray their friendship like she did. It shocked her that Nate had cheated on her, but it hurt her more that Bekah was involved. After that, there was no more Morgan, Kayla, and Bekah. Bekah had been cut from the group because she broke one of the most important rules of friendship. Morgan and Kayla were furious and found themselves venting to one another at their booth in the Sweet Shop. As they looked down at their names carved into the booth that had become so familiar to them, they decided that Bekahs name no longer belonged. Kayla took a pen and scratched Bekah’s name out, officially ending the friendship they all thought would last forever.
